Our Community

We are proud to be part of a community that is committed to nurturing the talent, creativity, and energy of our teenagers.

Our community consists of:

• Teens from across the City of Chicago who join After School Matters programs to explore their interests and the possibilities for their futures.
• Independent instructors who are experts in their fields and program providers from community organizations who come from many professions and backgrounds to share their expertise and knowledge.
• Donors who provide the generous support that helps us provide more than 20,000 opportunities annually to Chicago teens.
• City partners such as Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Public Library, and Chicago Park District who facilitate the access to neighborhood resources where programs are available.
