Personal Gifts

Gifts to After School Matters support our mission of providing Chicago public school teens with opportunities to explore their talents, while gaining critical skills for work, college and beyond. We also welcome gifts made in memory or honor of a loved one and will notify the honoree of your generosity. Please use your check’s memo line or the space provided on our secured credit card form to indicate gifts made in honor or memory. To ensure the honoree is notified, include their full name and address with your gift. Will will not disclose the dollar amount of your gift in the notification.

Employee Matching Gifts

Many companies have programs that “match” the charitable contributions made by their employees. Include After School Matters in your Corporate Employee Matching Gift Program and your employer could double, or even triple your gift! Ask your Human Resources Department if you have a matching gift program. If so, complete a matching gift form and send it to:

Gift of Stock

A contribution of stock or mutual fund shares is another great way to support After School Matters. Your stock gift allows tax benefits based on the value of the asset(s) to the fullest extent allowable by law. Provide Professional Services

Your professional services could go a long way in helping After School Matters serve more teens. Please call the Development Department at 312.742.4182. Examples of support we can use:

In-Kind Goods

Gifts of in-kind goods help After School Matters provide more direct funding to our teen programs. Please call the Development Department at 312.742.4182. For example consider providing any of the following:

• Gift Cards
• Sports Equipment
• Customized t-shirts

Please stop by the After School Matters Retail Store to purchase teen-made, one-of-a-kind merchandise. From jewelry to paintings, there is truly something for everyone.
