Meet Courtney.

She is a 17-year-old teen from the West Pullman neighborhood who participated in the Junior Tennis Apprenticeship program at After School Matters this past spring.

Your past giving to After School Matters has directly helped teens like Courtney discover their passions and participate in safe out-of-school programs during the times when they are otherwise most vulnerable. On behalf of our Board of Directors, I want to personally thank you for your continued support and ask that you consider making a gift to help us reach our goal of providing opportunities for 11,000 teens this summer. Your gift will offer more teens than ever the opportunity to participate in hands-on programs throughout a variety of content areas including the arts, communications, science, sports, and technology.

Since 1991 more than 200,000 Chicago high school teens have benefited from After School Matters’ high-quality programming. While we have made significant accomplishments over these 25 years, we must do more. Your support is critical to our ability to give more teens life-changing opportunities to invest in themselves, and gain the skills needed to succeed this summer and beyond.
