Stop by and see Chicago teens discovering their potential all summer long
in After School Matters Summer Programs at Millennium Park:

At Millennium Park Chase Promenade North, where you can see creative youth
developing their talents in a variety of programs including furniture painting,
mosaics, large-scale mural creation, and more. Enjoy live teen performances every
Wednesday from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. starting July 11!
On Wrigley Square, where the After School Matters Jazz Band will rehearse
and perform.
Gift Shop ‘Pop-Up’ (Chase Promenade North), featuring one-of-a-kind creations for sale with all proceeds benefiting Chicago’s teens.

Celebrate the summer with our performing arts and Peacemakers teens on Daley Plaza!

Rock Your Drop

Marillac Social Center
Rock Your Drop on the Block is a peace-centered block party presented by After School
Matters, The Firehouse Community Arts Center, and Noah’s Arc Foundation. More than 400 teens will participate in a Peace Walk through the Garfield Park community.

Spotlight on Peace

Navy Pier
Take in the Chicago skyline and enjoy performances by our city’s talented young artists.
We encourage guests to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Summer Salon

Wednesday, August 8, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
3435 N. Cicero Ave.
Experience lively performances from our Latin Dance teens and the beautiful vocals
of Upbeat Music & Arts teens. You’ll also be able to see amazing teen artwork and
presentations from our game design and biking programs. Plus, our culinary teens will
prepare delicious food for all to enjoy!
