Crisis Management Plan

The Crisis Management Plan explains how to ensure the physical and emotional safety of teens in emergency situations. The Crisis Management Plan can be found on Cityspan.

If a crisis occurs during an After School Matters program, follow the procedures outlined in the Crisis Management Plan and be sure to:

• Act as a first responder- Dial 911 if necessary; provide any first aid you are trained to do; control access to dangerous environments- ensure the safety of all teens, Instructors, and staff
• Notify the teen’s emergency contact, unless the incident involves a death
• Notify your Program Specialist
• Work with your Program Specialist to complete an Incident Report within 24 hours of the incident
