ASM Launch

Are you a recent high school graduate still trying to figure out what’s next for you?

The ASM Launch program supports recent graduates, ages 18-24, on their post-high school journey who previously participated in ASM programs and might be unsure what to do next. Designed to provide assistance and coaching, as an ASM Launch Fellow, you will choose one of three areas of focus: culinary, graphic design, or coding to dive into and gain critical skills for your life’s next chapter. Fellows will receive a $1,375 stipend for completing the Fall program running late-September – mid-December and have the opportunity to continue the experience into Spring.

As an ASM Launch Fellow, you will:

Attend daily program sessions.

Fellows meet with their instructors for 75 minutes daily and complete 90 minutes of independent projects daily. The total time commitment for Fellows is 3 hours/day for 5 days a week (15 hours each week).

Proactively communicate.

Fellows must respond to emails, texts, or calls efficiently and proactively communicate on things; for example, if you can’t complete an assignment on time.

Work independently to further your goals.

Fellows are to attend job fairs, complete/update their resume, attend mock interviews, create a portfolio, apply to colleges, etc. Fellows will receive assistance on these opportunities, but Fellows will need to complete some tasks outside the 90-minute group sessions.

Establish a network:

Fellows will work collaboratively to support, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to their peers.
