This summer, After School Matters performing arts teens showcased their incredible talents at Daley Plaza’s Noontime Events! Our teens amazed audiences with their hard work and skills.
The Forward Momentum Chicago Dance program performed a variety of dances incorporating genres like Ballet, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. This program allows teens to improve their dance skills while learning new choreography to expand their repertoire.
Latin Dance at the Michael and Karyn Lutz Center for After School Matters teens shared a variety of dances from Latin America including salsa, bachata, and merengue for their audience. Guests grooved along with the teens, enjoying every moment of their performance.
The New Orleans Style Brass Band and Jazz Improvisation program brought the sounds of the French Quarter to Chicago. These talented musicians put a fresh spin on classic jazz tunes, delighting everyone with their innovative performances.
